Sanga Vet. Chem. Ltd was licensed by National Drug Authority (NDA) to manufacture animal drugs.
Manufacturing commenced August 2021 with 7 products including 5 acaricides, an anthelmintic and a wound remedy. The 5 Acaricides will undergo clinical field trials as per NDA Regulations to ensure that they are effective against ticks and safe to use. The School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Resources (SVAR), Makerere University was selected as a Contract Research Organisation (CRO) by Sanga Vet. Chem. Ltd to conduct the trials across the 2 ecological zones of the country.
